In the mail today, I received a pretty large bill. It pretty much rocked my world. I kind of realized that I need to find a part time job and put this blog on the back burner or find a way to turn this blog into something where I can earn a little it of money. I really don’t like the part time idea because I’m worried it would affect my grades.

I’m thinking abut setup a “premium” section of the Anal Amy blog. There would still be the regular blog but I would add an area were only members could access via an AVS (adult verification system). It’s not going to be like a porn pay site, but more like an area restricted to members only for a low cost.

In this premium section:

I’d include my more risque photos. I did take nudes and topless photos and some day I’ll work up the nerve to post them.

I’d also include my best of series and I’m thinking about including the archives so only the most recent month or two would be listed on the blog.

I’m thinking about maybe doing posts that would be exclusive for the premium area. Or maybe doing the posts there first and then putting them in the other section.

I’d also guarantee that people who are members of that area would get timely responses. Anyone that has emailed me knows that I’m the worse when it comes to this, days, sometimes months to respond.

Most of the AVS options that I was looking at were low yearly rates or free. However, it seemed liked all of the free ones had “catches,” if you know what I mean, so I’m leaning more towards the low yearly rates. I really want something that is fair and honest. If anyone has some input , I’d love to hear it, especially if you’ve ever joined one of these sites.

I’d like to get your feedback. What would make you willing/worth it to pay? What would you like to see?

I wanted to let you know that I’ve been thinking of doing this for a while, literally years.

I’m not doing it to get rich, I’m just looking to for some cash to buy groceries every once in a while. It’s more along the lines of donations. I love writing this blog, writing the stories gets me as hot as hopefully it does for you. I love interacting with you guys and gals in the comments. If I could turn this into a full time job, I would but right now, I’d be happy with just a little spending money here and there.

If you haven’t already figured it out, I’m in debt. I’ve been very responsible, but just going to school and living away from home and I’ve started to dig a pretty deep and scary hole. Mostly credit cards, but don’t think I’m the kind of girl that goes shopping every day at the mall or on ebay.

The ads you see on the blog literally earn me pocket change a day.

One last note. I hope everyone understands where I’m coming from. I can promise that no matter what I put in the premium area, there will still be steamy, sexy and down right hot posts here for everyone to enjoy.

You’re going to hate this idea, but the simplest solution would be to auction off one evening a month. Not an escort service– just dinner, some form of entertainment (not sex– a movie, concert, club) and nothing more.

Of course, if the person interests you, no reason you couldn’t choose to hook up (would need to be on some other day, so it would not appear to be cover for an escort). And, of course, all dates would be fair game for an article.

Judging from the number of guys panting over you in the comments, it would not be difficult to get some spirited bidding going.

As I say, you’ll probably reject this out of hand. But if you think running a pay site is going to be more fun and less creepy, you’re kidding yourself.

If you were to go to a pay service, I think you would lose many readers. Quite frankly, I think you should consider going into the escort business. Given your love of sex, you could easily be making thousands of dollars per week. I know several men who frequent this site would be willing to pay you for your time in exchange for an evening with you. There are verification services which protect your safety and would allow you to have sex with who you would like and when.

The stigma of this which used to be in place decades ago is almost gone and your privacy would be secured. You wouldn’t need to post pictures of your face on sites and you could be out of debt immediately.

Just my idea. Hope you don’t take offense, but you already have readers masturbating to thoughts of you and reading your stories and are making a little off of that. Why not make more?

I’m an Aussie (not sure how many of them you have?!?) and found this website only a couple of months ago, but read it weekly and get much “enjoyment” out of it from time to time. Never written before though.

I’ve no problem at all in paying a fee to read your blog, as you clearly take the time to do this blog and deserve to be compensated for such time.

Hey Amy, sorry to hear about your debt – I hope you get it sorted. The pay section sounds like a solution of sorts, but I’m afraid to say that I probably wouldn’t pay for it if it was just the existing blog with a few risque photos. I think you really would have to push the boat out a bit further and do something more along the lines of your friend Yola, whose sex blog is listed. She’s fairly graphic, yet at the same time keeps her identity secret. Your blog would need to be a lot more graphic before I would pay, I’m afraid Sorry!

I can totally understand and relate to this. A premium area would be nice, but it should not be to the point where it would affect your grades.
If I may suggest, maybe selling old panties, or list certain items available for sale, as well as a paypal donate button and see how that does.

Uh .. well, with all due respect to the other posters, I think you would be better off concentrating on your studies, find a decent job, and just continue to treat this blog as a hobby. If you try to commercialize it, it’s going to lose the amateur luster that draws people to it. You’ll just be another face in the crowd.

I don’t know what you are going to college for, but I’m guessing it’s not a career in the adult industry. Once these economic down times clear up companies are going to release their hiring freezes and gobble up people, and you want to be positioned to take advantage of that.

My husband and I love your site. My husband is an entrepreneur has run his own business for many, many years and he and I discussed this, this morning. Here is a brief summary of what we came up with.

1. Yes we would pay…maybe

2: offer at the top, on the right hand side, the ability to donate for your blog via a PayPal-Account or something like this. Remember your Blogreaders every month why you offer this ability to donate.
3: Set links to your blog in the whole sex-blogosphere. Put your blog on top-sexblog-lists and write a lot of comments in other blogs. This is a very efficient announcement.

I am a regular reader and LOVE your site, but I, like many others, would not pay for it. At least not for long, even with pictures. To me, that’s not what a blog is for. You have the same problem most students have and have had forever. I am not trying to insult your intelligence at all, but have you sat down and made a budget? Have you considered taking less credits and making more time to get a part time job? What about a job on campus? Another student loan? I don’t know if you want to jump into the world of escort services, but what about stripping? I had a roommate who did that and made very good money.

Short version, people like your blog, but get it for free. There are anonymous services you can offer which WON’T take up more time than the blog likely does, but would probably help. Personalized fantasies/posts?

only found it by accident a few months ago and now i check it daily. It has given me much joy.

I think that the idea of paypal donations would be the best (?) way to go.
everyone could still read your blog and contribute with a few dollars.
although I have to say that even if you’d start a members section I’d first in line to join.

I loved the idea of a paper book. but i think that it would probably cost a bit to produce.
