Just Checking In Tonight
Really just checking tonight. Today, was definitely a lot better than yesterday. I've heard that everyone I know is okay, but there's still five dead innocent students. It was really weird seeing where they were all from because they were all from places where I've been and often know people. Plus, hearing there ages when most of them were around me. It was definitely weird going to class today. A lot of us were wearing red in solidarity with NIU. Plus, I'm sure I wasn't the only one who was thinking if it could happen there, any second someone could come into one of our classrooms.
I'm definitely glad to be back in Chicago tonight. And it's definitely nice to be at Brett's. He's a very good listener.
We were planning on going out on our "date" tonight, but I really wasn't in the mood. I think we're going to go out tomorrow.
Well, anyways I should get going. I'm going to try to get some work done since Brett is already asleep.
